Sixth Grade Students Complete Their "Community" Banner

Our sixth grade grammar class is focused on one of the Catholic Social Teachings.  The Call to Family, Community and Participation states the following: "Recognize and promote the family, a sense of community, and participation in society for the common good and well-being of all."

Students were asked to create a mural that represents the class as a community.  The class just completed a banner that shows our class mascot, "Gale, the Grammar Gator." in his habitat.  He represents the goals students are trying to achieve in class:  excellent academics, a sense of community, and caring for the well-being of all class members.  Congratulations, sixth grade, for a job well done!
